This study conducted in Japan demonstrated in a real world setting, consisting of 20 volunteers, that X-Static^® demonstrated an excellent reduction in bacterial and fungal counts. These results coincide with the rapid development of the Japanese hosiery market. X-Static^® is widely recognized in Japan as the most effective antimicrobial alternative. X-Static^® is approved by the Ministry of Health in Japan as an antimicrobial agent and exceeds the industry minimum standards of performance exceeds the industry minimum standards of performance.

Test Description:

The 1st group of volunteers wore standard cotton socks for 3 days and then for the subsequent 8 days, X-Static^® silver socks were worn for 8 to 12 hours per day. The 2nd group of volunteers wore only cotton socks for 11 days.

Bacteria and fungi were counted for both groups on the 12th day:

The 2nd group with standard cottons socks showed:

• 95% with 30 or more staphylococcus epidermis bacteria.

• 100% showing one or more fungi.

The 1st group with X-Static^® silver socks showed:

• 92% was absolutely free of bacteria

• 78% was free of fungi.

X-Static^® silver socks are therefore a proven product to fight Athlete Foot and bacteria causing odors.
